Sustainable Fashion Workshop Series.
The Mhenase Touch Sustainable Workshop Series is a hands-on initiative designed to equip individuals with practical skills in garment construction, upcycling, and creative expression..
Through this initiative, over 24 participants were trained, gaining confidence and foundational skills to explore fashion as a tool for independence and self-development.
As part of the programme, participant contributions raised £201, which was donated to support children in need—transforming creativity into a direct act of impact.

Fashion as a Tool for Emotional Expression and Wellbeing
Alongside her work in fashion, the brand explores mental health awareness through creative expression and participatory art. This was reflected through the facilitation of “Dress A Human” during University Mental Health Day at the University of Law, delivered in collaboration with Creative Health, Arts and Culture CIC.
The session encouraged students to explore identity, vulnerability, self expression, and human connection through collaborative garment creation within a safe and supportive environment.
Through this experience, fashion became more than clothing. It became a thoughtful tool for communication, empathy, confidence building, emotional reflection, and wellbeing, helping individuals reconnect with themselves and others through creativity.

Costume Design for Stage and Touring Performance
Mhenase Touch contributed to costume design for Bŵci Be?!, a production by Opra Cymru, supporting a touring performance across multiple venues in Wales.
The project required translating character, narrative, and movement into garments—ensuring each piece functioned effectively within a live performance setting.
Through this work, the brand demonstrated the ability to extend fashion beyond the studio, using costume as a tool for storytelling, audience engagement, and cultural expression.

Costume Design for Community Storytelling
The brand contributed to costume design for Passion for Gorton, a community-led theatre production that brought together local stories, people, and performance.
The project focused on creating garments that reflected character and narrative while remaining accessible and meaningful within a community setting.
Through this work, the brand used fashion as a bridge between creativity and community—supporting storytelling, participation, and shared cultural expression.

Nurturing the Next Generation of Creatives.
Through MHENASE TOUCH, Amenawon approaches empowerment not simply as an idea, but as something expressed through mentorship, creativity, and shared learning experiences.
This is beautifully reflected in her community work, such as leading creative workshops at Arnot St Mary’s Church of England Primary School, and her close mentorship of young learners like Maisie, an 11-year-old aspiring designer. Through these hands-on design practices, she guides them through the creative process while helping them build confidence, practical skills, and self-expression.
This commitment reflects her belief that nurturing creativity from an early age can encourage confidence, independence, purpose, and a lasting connection to self-expression.
