Mhenase Touch

MHENASE TOUCH is a womenswear brand dedicated to designing garments that nurture confidence, identity, and wellbeing. Each piece is created with intention, celebrating individuality and inviting women to feel grounded, expressive, and fully seen.

Beyond fashion, the brand extends into creativity and learning, using design as a tool for skill building and self expression. MHENASE TOUCH creates opportunities for young women to explore their potential in positive and meaningful ways, encouraging growth, independence, and a lasting relationship with their creative voice.

The brand began as a dream incubated in the heart of Creative Director: AMENAWON MONICA OKOH in 2014. It was officially registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission in 2019 and began operating commercially in 2020. Since its inception, Mhenase Touch has produced seven collections and served a growing international clientele, designing more than 700 garments for over 200 clients across Nigeria and beyond.
In 2019, during her National Youth Service,MONICA represented MHENASE TOUCH at the NYSC SAED programme and received an Award of Excellence for creative design. Since then, the brand’s work has been showcased internationally in Paris, London, and Morocco, demonstrating the cultural versatility and global relevance of its design language.
Our Collections have been featured in publications including This Day Nigeria, Vanguard Allure, The Sun Nigeria, Daily Independent, and London Runway Magazine.

In October 2025, MHENASE TOUCH designed the lead costume for Opera Cymru’s Halloween tour across Wales. The costume appeared in 11 live performances across multiple venues, contributing to community engagement through public performance.

As part of our commitment to empowering women through fashion, MHENASE TOUCH hosted the first edition of its Sustainable Workshop series in January 2026. The inaugural programme focused on circular womenswear through upcycling, where we voluntarily trained over 24 women and several men in safe sewing machine use, accurate measurement taking, and practical techniques for transforming garments at home.
Participant contributions raised £201 for Mary’s Meals, a registered charity that provides meals for children in need, and the funds were donated directly to the organisation.

This social mission also informs MHENASE TOUCHcreative work. Guided by the belief that fashion can speak about real social issues, inspire change, and amplify women’s voices, we developed the Spring/Summer 2026 collection Obìrin.
The collection celebrates layered and evolving womanhood, affirming the freedom for women everywhere to exist beyond imposed limits, roles, or expectations. It reflects our conviction that fashion is not only about appearance, but a medium capable of education, empowerment, and meaningful community impact.
